The barrel-shaped handle is oval in cross-section, covered in snakeskin and wrapped in a spiral groove with plain and twisted brass wire. The pommel is rounded, with a smooth bushing. The bottom has a smooth cylindrical bushing.

The crossguard is diamond-shaped, decorated with floral designs on both sides. The crossguard has a round, empty medallion.

The blade is straight, flat, without fullers, tapering smoothly to the tip, single-edged, double-edged on the lower two-thirds of its length, nickel-plated, unadorned, and without hallmarks.

Length with scabbard: 370 mm.

The brass scabbard is richly decorated on both sides with floral designs and military and state symbols, with a conical button at the end. The embossed nuts have two rings for the sword belt.
