The blade features etched hunting motifs on both sides, without a maker’s mark.
Wooden grip with fine silver-wire wrapping. 
Silver-plated guard and pommel; the ends of the guard terminate in elaborately sculpted dragon or mythical-animal heads. The shell guard and pommel are chased with floral motifs.
Leather scabbard with silver-plated fittings, the suspension hook decorated with a pheasant, and an elaborately worked chape.
