Bahnschutz Leader’s Dagger, Model 1935. Total length: 39.7 cm. Maker: Robert Klaas, Solingen (reverse blade marked). This example features the distinctive “X”-marks on the scabbard bands, a hallmark of Klaas production, also seen on their Army daggers.

Grip: Black Trolon grip, round with double-twisted, convex fluting. Conical pommel decorated with 14 oak leaves, firmly screwed to the tang. Lower grip ring with 7 oak leaves in a row. Crossguard in the form of the Reichsadler, facing left, wings flowing downward, clutching a wreath with swastika.

Blade: Bright, clean blade, free from rust or nicks. Reverse ricasso etched with “Robert Klaas, Solingen”. Original leather buffer pad intact between shoulders and guard.

Scabbard: One-piece steel with fine pebbled texture, fitted with mouthpiece secured by side screws. Two suspension bands with closed carrying rings. Rounded, undamaged tip. Both scabbard bands bear the typical Klaas “X”-markings, confirming manufacturer attribution.
