SA [Sturmabteilung] Honor Dagger in perfect condition. Model 1933. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with "Wf" stamp. The Dagger has the full rohm inscription: In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Rohm. Maker mark on the blade: Carl Eickhorn Solingen.
The mounts on this example are all solid nickel. The lower crossguard is Gruppe marked, «Wf» Westfalia. This grip is of medium contour construction and is in nice condition. On the back of the handle are the initials "A.M.", most likely the owner's. The SA runes button is perfectly placed. This eagle is in fine condition throughout having full details to its head, eye, breast and wing feathering, talons, wreath and mobile swastika.
The blade is in very nice condition. The SA motto is crisp and deep having most of the darkening in the background letters. The ricasso area still has the full trademark Carl Eickhorn Solingen. Full Rohm inscription: In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Rohm.
The scabbard shell is a good example, having a lot of the original anodized surface. A few age spots are visible in the finish, but overall it is a pretty good example. The scabbard mounts are of solid matching nickel, in good condition.
