Original officer’s dagger of the Swiss Army, Model 1943, produced by the well-known maker Elsener Schwyz. Total length: 36.9 cm. The dagger is offered complete with its leather hanger.
Grip: Two-piece wooden grip slabs, secured with three screws. Surface with distinctive grain, ergonomically shaped for a secure hold. Crossguard and pommel fittings of metal, nickel-plated; the crossguard plain, half-moon shaped.
Blade: Double-edged, mirror-bright and entirely original. Tip unshortened and in perfect condition. Length 20.5 cm. Reverse stamped with the maker’s mark “Elsener Schwyz”, obverse ricasso with the serial number 191163.
Scabbard: Black / blued steel scabbard with belt / carabiner hook for attachment to the officer’s belt.
