This Royal Yugoslav Air Force officer’s dagger features a polished nickel-plated steel blade with semi-sharp edges and a pointed tip. The ricasso has etched Royal Yugoslav Coat of Arms inbetween a cyrillic inscription reading "Officer's Association" ("ОФИЦИРСКА ЗАДРУГА"). The blade bears no manufacturer’s mark and shows minimal wear from repeated scabbard extraction, including surface wear on the ricassos.
The crossguard is made of aluminun designed in the form of a propeller reminiscent of those found on radial aircraft engines. The reverse of the crossguard features a nickel-plated brass push-release stud, connected to a spring-loaded catch on the reverse ricasso, allowing for secure attachment to the scabbard.
The grip is covered in black leather, with seven recessed rows, each wrapped in a single strand of twisted nickel-plated wire. The pommel is made from aluminum, bearing the Royal Crown and finished with a ball-shaped finial.
The accompanying scabbard is crafted from aluminum and wrapped in blackened leather. The scabbard features three nickel-plated metal adornments: a locket, a central band, and a chape. The locket is adorned with a gilded Royal Yugoslav Air Force Pilot Badge, while both the locket and central band are fitted with large nickel-plated suspension rings for attaching hangers to a belt. The chape is finished with a large ball finial.
